Silicon Turbine Systems, Inc. Names Denise Rushing as Chief Executive Officer

CUPERTINO, CALIFORNIA, March 6, 2019 – Silicon Turbine Systems announced today that energy technology industry veteran Denise Rushing has joined as Chief Executive Officer to lead the company's next phase of development, including fundraising and technology proof-of-concept efforts. This is part of the company's re-launch of its Angel funding series. Rushing is replacing Geoff Williamson who, as a major shareholder, will remain Company President and provide her and the team with operational, advisory and business development support.

Previously, Ms. Rushing served as Vice President of eMeter, an innovative energy enterprise software company for electric utilities. Over the past three decades, Rushing has led the

marketing and business development of a variety of revolutionary energy technologies. Notable roles have included Vice President of Marketing and Sales for CellNet Data Systems, General

Manager for Invensys’s Goodwatts business unit, Vice President of Business Development for Sage Systems, and Director of Sales and Marketing at Pacific Gas and Electric Company. Ms.

Rushing brings extensive experience in energy management, renewable energy technology, with experience in capital raising and a reputation for innovative industry leadership. She also served two terms as a county elected official, spearheading two of the largest solar energy installations in the Western United States.

Her successes have included guiding CellNet Data System’s marketing and sales transition from start-up to the first industry-accepted network-based meter reading system. Early in her career, she launched PG&E’s award-winning

Commercial Energy Efficiency Services Program and Clean Air Vehicle Market Development, efforts as part of the California Collaborative for Energy Efficiency.
